[Linda] I’ve never felt connected to organized religion. Since I belonged to one that wanted a heartfelt commitment, there was a feeling of falseness about my spiritual life. I could follow the rules, and found it easy to be friendly with and helpful to those around me.

I just couldn’t hear the still small voice, and I longed to.

Feeling disconnected led to cynicism and skepticism about spiritual matters.

I met Fred Funk in the workplace. He was smart and a hard worker. I was impressed with his quiet confidence and kindness. Fred became a mentor within a short period of time. During lunch breaks, we began to talk about spiritual topics. I found him easy to listen to, and what he was saying interested me. During our discussions, I found my heart recognizing and responding to what he was describing.

When he left to work elsewhere, we kept in touch. During a period of personal crisis, he helped me see my problems as opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.

I took classes in mindfulness meditation, yoga, and tai chi. I began reading spiritual material. Inspite of my skepticism, I found myself becoming more and more aware of the higher power in my life. I felt ready to move to the next step.

It was about this time I found that Fred had begun teaching and felt compelled to become one of his students. I am so glad that it worked out. Fred’s depth of knowledge and his ability to pass it on it a way that is meaningful to me has been astounding.

Fred’s ability to see deep into my psyche, and understand my motivations and shortcomings has helped me to evolve rapidly spiritually and personally:

• I recognize blocks more easily.
• I turn to my heart first to deal with issues
  more and more frequently.
• I am moving steadily forward on my path.
• I am much happier, more grounded, and have much more confidence

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Fred. I will continue to do so indefinitely.

I highly recommend Fred’s classes and seminars. I have extreme confidence in his ability to assist in your spiritual evolvement. I hope to meet you there as I continue working on my own.

[Melanie] When I began to meet with Fred for teachings in about 2004, he gracefully built a steady and strong foundation for a magnificent connection to the divine to unfold within me. His care and particular way of teaching invited me to see how to get out of my own way, and at the beginning I hadn't realized that my own self had provided barriers preventing me from finding my path. Stuckness was tangible to dissolve after all. A veil wasn't lifted from my consciousness to put me in illusion again, but instead through Fred's teachings, meditations and insights, clarity soon opened from the depths of me to filter into my everyday conscious mind. Guidance seemed to emerge from a foundational and real self within, that allowed a more powerful connection to the peace that I could finally feel and sit with inside me.

Fred was patient to allow the ego self to work through it's baggage, and he set the stage with the most effective teachings, meditations, healings, visualizations, and other practices for me to find my way, to wake up to the divine within me, to have gratitude for the divine and for the cosmic energies available to me, and to truly connect to my heart in a more profound way than I had ever experienced before.

Fred also helped me to tap into my truth, to feel rather than analyze as I tended to think too much, and he helped guide me to remember my connection to the whole. His guidance for me was at times the wisdom he offers others and at other times they were personal and individual just for me. Fred is an extremely gifted teacher and intuitive guide, a light worker, a beacon of cosmic wisdom and down to earth accepting his human path, he embodies what he teaches, he radiates love for this planet, and I am forever grateful for his teachings leading me to discover the light that led me home to the divine within and to my connection to the world without. Since working with Fred, my life is enchantingly enriched, a clearer vision guides me through my days, and a deeper connection to my heart exists which allows me to have a love for life that continues to move me forward.

[Larry] I am writing this to express my deep appreciation for the loving, supportive and profound spiritual coaching and assistance I have achieved from Fred Funk.

As a background, for over 20 years I have placed my spiritual growth and evolvement as a high priority. During that time I have made great strides in my knowledge and understanding of spiritual principles and practices and in moving through parts of my EGO that had come up to be cleared. Yet I was not fulfilled as I lacked an inner connection to my Divinity. That is, until Fred took me on as his student.

My working with Fred began about 2-1/2 years ago and in that relatively short period with Fred, it has been life changing. I noticed almost immediately a foundation being set and with that there was a major change in my spiritual focus. The foundation included a combination of education, energy work and changes to my spiritual practices. Those practices which would support and enhance my growth were started and those which were no longer supporting me were dropped. I later came to understand his ability to look deeply into my being and connect with my Higher Self. This gave Fred a unique capability of tailoring his work to what was of my immediate and greatest benefit. As I look back I notice that each time I worked with Fred, his coaching, instructions and inner work moved me along a carefully crafted path and set of sequential experiences required to lay the foundation that I required for the inner connection to Divinity that I aspire for.

I also noticed that Fred's ability to look deeply into my being gave him the ability to identify personality/EGO issues that I need to work with that I was only vaguely aware of. As I accepted his recommendations for inner work I noticed that, through his loving energetic support, the Ego issues would dissipate with only a fraction of the effort previously required. This allowed my process of inner growth to be far more graceful and rapid than what I had previously experienced.

As I am writing this letter I have been reflecting on where I was at the time we started some 2+-years ago. The changes in my life have been so significant that it is difficult to remember the person that I was. Since my time as a student of Fred, I have grown in wonderful ways that I could not have anticipated. I am deeply grateful that my life has been touched with his loving presence.

My deepest held aspiration has been to experience Divinity. As a result of Fred's teaching and inner work I have a connection to my Divinity that is deeper and more profound than anything I have previously experienced. I know that with his loving assistance I will continue to evolve in wondrous ways that will exceed my hopes and aspirations.
